FAQ
Is this fabric suitable for “waterproof + breathable” jackets?
Yes—this product is designed for that purpose using breathable PU milky coating. Share your target waterproof (mmH₂O) and MVTR requirement, and we’ll match the coating recipe accordingly.
What’s the difference between normal PU coating and breathable PU coating?
Normal PU coating prioritizes waterproofing but usually reduces breathability significantly. Breathable PU uses a different formulation (often microporous / moisture-vapor-permeable) to balance waterproof and MVTR performance.
Why choose Taslan yarn?
Taslan gives a softer, more textile-like, matte look and quieter handfeel than standard filament. It’s popular for premium outdoor apparel and uniforms.
Can you add DWR on the face side?
Yes. DWR can be added to improve water beading and reduce wet-out, depending on your market requirements.
Can you provide test reports?
We can provide in-house QC records and arrange third-party testing (waterproof/MVTR/colorfastness) upon request.
Can you do custom colors and printing?
Yes. Pantone matching and OEM printing are available. Please provide color references or artwork, plus your expected order quantity.
What is typical MOQ and lead time?
Our regular MOQ is 1000 meters per design, lead time is 25-30 days. We can discuss further if there is any problem with you.
How do we start sampling?
Send pattern reference, target specs, and end use. We’ll recommend a baseline spec and send samples for approval.
